- Actively partnering in the research system to increase research infrastructure capacity and capability.
- Developing the specialty collaboratively with patients, the public, and other stakeholders.
- Establishing and maintaining an outstanding service and high-performance management culture.
- Demonstrating knowledge of national and regional systems, structures, and processes for research delivery.
- Communicating priorities effectively and engaging and influencing others at all levels internally and externally (including through presentations and public speaking).
Skills and Expertise
- Proven clinical, social care, or public health professional status.
- Acknowledged local opinion leader in the relevant specialty.
- Breadth of knowledge in the appropriate area.
- Experience leading regionally in the relevant specialty area.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
