Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer of power cords and cord sets, seeks a hands-on, driven Quality Control and Health & Safety Manager to lead their quality and safety initiatives in Cheshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Leading ISO certification processes
- Overseeing health & safety across the organisation
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and material defects
- Providing monthly QA reports to the board
- Managing in-house testing and inspection
- Conducting internal audits and monitoring supplier performance
- Ensuring non-conformances are efficiently resolved
- Overseeing the companys health & safety policies
- Monitoring risk assessments and ensuring compliance with legislation
- Investigating health & safety issues and implementing corrective actions
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience in quality control, health & safety management, and ISO certification
- NEBOSH qualification
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
