CURE Navigator – Tobacco Dependency Team
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and distribution of incoming mail (electronic and paper)
- Routine processing of letters
- Ensuring urgent matters are brought to the attention of appropriate staff; reporting issues and seeking clarification
- Hive Referrals for CURE team (inpatients and outpatients)
- Maintaining clinics
- Timely processing of referrals
- Arranging urgent appointments
- Demonstrating office procedures to new staff
- On-the-job learning, including IT systems
- Liaising with GPs regarding patient outcomes
- Arranging meetings and managing diaries (including junior medical staff)
- Facilitating and supporting Cure Advisors with follow-up clinics
