Chemotherapy Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with all new patient chemotherapy/anti-cancer treatment referrals from clinicians.
  • Plan patient treatment and unit capacity efficiently, ensuring target treatment times are met.
  • Ensure pre-assessments are booked and scanning is completed.
  • Manage waiting lists and changing priorities.
  • Liaise directly with patients regarding treatment and queries/concerns.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as set by the line manager.

Skills and Expertise

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and clinicians.
  • Ability to maintain focus and be flexible and adaptable.
  • Experience with managing chemotherapy treatment schedules
