Bank Chef – Hayling Island
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavourful, and balanced menus.
- Tailor menus to residents’ needs.
- Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
- Work fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Create a warm, efficient, and fun kitchen environment.
- Work within budget.
- Complete regular audits.
- Manage stock control.
- Help lead and motivate a team.
Skills and Expertise
- Personable and warm approach.
- Genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
- City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in leading and inspiring a team.
- Good understanding of nutrition.
- Experience working with fresh seasonal food.
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment.
- Good understanding of HACCP.
