Nursery Practitioner – Early Years SEN 1:1 Support

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning, development, and care activities tailored to individual children’s needs.
  • Work on individual APDR Targets.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and achievements.
  • Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating nursery environment for children.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.

Skills and Expertise

  • Recognized Early Years Level 3 qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working within Early Years.
  • Experience working with SEND children (preferred, but not essential).
  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
