Key Responsibilities

• Operation of the consumable and sub-sample delivery process to agreed standards.
• Operation of waste collection process to agreed standards.
• Safe operation and organization of the hazardous waste stores.
• Picking items from stores and updating stock records systems (where necessary).
• Contributing to the review and implementation of standard operating procedures and business processes to ensure smooth supply chain operation.
• Coverage for the internal supply chain team leader during any absences.
• Updating Consumables Inventory Tracker daily.
• Maintaining 5S Standards across all areas within the Stores department.
• Adhering to all SSOW procedures.
• Providing updates and working with suppliers, internal customers, and team members to resolve supply issues or customer problems.
• Assisting in the collection of data for key performance indicators.
• Regular review of batch sizes, delivery lot sizes, and lead-times to minimize inventory and deliver the correct quantity when needed.
• Assisting with daily despatch of courier consignments.
• Cooperating with the investigation and resolution of customer issues.
• Complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations.
• Partaking in any developmental training as required.
