Gynaecology Outpatients Nurse – Band 5

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical chaperoning and assisting
• Patient triage, including 2 week wait patients
• Service and personal skills development and training
• Working with students
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure safe and well-managed clinic activity
• Stepping up in the absence of the gynaecology oncology clinical nurses
• Assisting in outpatient clinics, including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, vulval, urodynamic, oncology, and general gynaecological clinics
