Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of power cords and cord sets, seeks a hands-on, driven Quality Control and Health & Safety Manager to lead their quality and safety initiatives in Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Leading ISO certification processes
  • Overseeing health & safety across the organisation
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and material defects
  • Providing monthly QA reports to the board
  • Managing in-house testing and inspection
  • Conducting internal audits and monitoring supplier performance
  • Ensuring non-conformances are efficiently resolved
  • Overseeing the companys health & safety policies
  • Monitoring risk assessments and ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Investigating health & safety issues and implementing corrective actions

Skills and Expertise

  • Proven experience in quality control, health & safety management, and ISO certification
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
