Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, labelling, and analysing samples.
• Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
• Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
• Planning, setting up, and undertaking controlled experiments and trials.
• Recording and analyzing data.
• Working with Teachers to conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments.

Skills and Expertise

• Experience dealing with solution preparation and chemical handling.
• Confidence in setting up the laboratory prior to lessons up to GCSE level.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong scientific background.
