Youth Worker – Secondary School – Hulme, Greater Manchester
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with young people (age 11-16) with EHCP plans and additional needs.
- Act as a mentor and role model for students.
- Support pupils in the classroom and out of the classroom on a vocational basis.
- Utilize mentoring skills to help pupils engage with the school environment.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous experience in a similar setting (e.g., SEMH/PRU).
- Strong background in mentoring children and young adults.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) or higher.
- GCSE Maths and English.
- Computer literate.
