Chef de Partie – Wok Cooking Station
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety.
- Oversee production of dishes assigned to your station, maintaining supplies and cleanliness.
- Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, focusing on presentation and taste.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide assistance/support.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and designated area, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous experience working on a Wok section and/or fast-paced Asian restaurants.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and taking orders (client-facing role).
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
