Welfare Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Working with children to meet their welfare needs
- Establishing positive relationships with children
- Supervising and interacting with children
- Managing children’s behaviour positively
- Understanding first aid, health and safety, and safeguarding issues
Skills and Expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English, ideally with a community language
- Experience working with children
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Proven ability to supervise and manage children’s behavior

- Salary: 13,229 – 13,656 inclusive of fringe allowance
- Grade 3
- Hours: 23.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Work Pattern: term time only 38 weeks per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Holiday: equivalent of 24 days holiday + bank holidays per annum
- Pension: 20.6% employers contribution
