Warehouse Operative
Key Responsibilities
- Handling produce, using knife skills for vegetable preparation (e.g., broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, peppers).
- Checking, washing, and preparing vegetables to standards.
- Processing root vegetables into bags up to 10kg.
- Inspecting and sorting peeled root vegetables.
- Packing orders and pallet banding/wrapping.
Skills and Expertise
- Warehouse experience preferred, but not essential
- Knife skills
- Attention to detail
- Meeting customer requirements
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Ongoing work with possibility of permanent position.
- Flexibility to work 2-5 days a week.
- Hours between 8-12 hours daily, starting at 08:00.
- Weekend work available (not essential).
- 11.44 per hour
- Cold environment
