Key Responsibilities

• Leading and engaging with the Warehouse Team, ensuring commitment, motivation, and effective role performance to meet KPIs.
• Utilizing all Warehouse resources for maximum benefit, maintaining resources to standard or replacing as needed.
• Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to all Health & Safety Procedures and Directives.
• Maintaining a hygienic and compliant environment, adhering to BRCGS and HACCP Procedures.
• Conducting consistent and timely Employee Performance Reviews, including follow-up and development.
• Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including updating and amending as needed.
• Performing effective and accurate stock takes, adhering to schedules and utilizing staff resources efficiently.
• Managing compliance with the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, addressing non-conformances.
• Investigating and reporting on stock discrepancies.
• Reporting on KPIs as requested, including to the Managing Director and at Management Meetings.
• Planning Holiday Cover to minimize operational interruption and maintain sufficient staffing.
• Exploring, recommending, and implementing continuous improvements, evaluating improvements where appropriate.
• Participating in personal and appropriate training and development activities to enhance the Warehouse Manager position.
• Ensuring commitment to Warehouse on-site security procedures.
