Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a wide range of ultrasound work (Abdominal, KUB, Gynaecological, testes, MSK, small parts) and supervise/mentor junior staff.
- Independently conduct general ultrasound sessions and provide detailed, accurate reports.
- Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations adhering to high professional standards.
- Ensure high-quality, patient-focused service delivery.
- Adapt scanning techniques to meet individual patient needs.
- Analyze clinical information to select appropriate scanning methods and techniques.
- Positively identify all patients with a 3-point check before the examination.
- Select correct equipment (ultrasound transducers) and perform appropriate examinations to provide necessary diagnostic information.
- Communicate urgent findings appropriately and direct patients accordingly.
