Key Responsibilities

• Review all patients admitted to assigned ward areas and supervise FY1 and FY2 doctors.
• Provide medical coverage to patients in the elderly care department as needed.
• Attend and lead multidisciplinary meetings in the absence of consultants or registrars.
• Participate in the General (Internal) Medical on-call rota.
• Teach junior medical/paramedical staff and medical students.
• Potentially work outside of planned hours to cover general duties.
• Participate in departmental and GP Specialty Training Scheme (STS) educational activities.
