Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Olive House, London, KT3
Salary: £15.70 per hour (40 hours per week) | Sleep-ins paid at £70.50 per night
Requirements:
•
Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
•
A valid driving licence is strongly favourable.
Shift Pattern:
•
This role requires a flexible approach to work on a variable shift pattern across the 7 days of the week. A fixed shift pattern is not available.
Job Description: As a Team Leader at Olive House, you will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding care and support to children in a residential setting. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day activities of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, and leading a team of care staff. You will promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that enables the children to develop their potential and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Lead, manage, and support a team of care staff to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery.
•
Act as a role model, promoting good practice and leading by example.
•
Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans to meet the needs of each child.
•
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents.
•
Conduct team meetings, supervisions, and contribute to staff training and development.
•
Handle administrative duties, including shift rotas and record-keeping.
•
Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
