What the school offers its staff

About the Post

We are looking to appoint a value-driven and aspirational colleague to join our learning support team with responsibility for supporting the teaching and learning of students, particularly those with communication needs, in lessons and interventions.

This role is focused on supporting young people with speech and language and wider communication needs to enable them to learn and thrive in the classroom and the wider school community. This is a great opportunity to work with a fantastic team of people.

In September 2021, Twynham School and The Grange School (TGS) federated staffing structures enabling us to launch an ambitious and progressive vision for the education provided by our two schools. As we head into the second year of our journey, we are excited to be advertising this opportunity to work at one of the most improved schools in the area.

In judging TGS to be “good” in all areas in December 2021, Ofsted recognised the efficacy and powerful opportunity provided by our federated approach and you will be joining an organisation that is gathering considerable momentum and has an absolute commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for the young people of Christchurch.

What we can offer you

• The opportunity to work with wonderful young people
• The opportunity to work with exceptional colleagues throughout our school
• High quality continued professional development and opportunities to progress
• Automatic membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme
• Free on-site parking
