Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in children and interact with them professionally
- Show a strong passion for addressing the needs of all children, including those with additional needs and SEN
- Work with small groups or individuals to deliver adapted learning activities and interventions that enhance understanding and achievement
- Support the class teacher in fostering active participation from children in both academic and social school activities
- Commit to enhancing achievement standards for all pupils
- Engage fully with school life, including parents and the wider community
Skills and Expertise
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or a related field
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a primary school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Eager to engage fully with school life, including parents and the wider community
