Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other critical infrastructure systems.
  • Monitor system performance (hardware, software, networks) for efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols (firewalls, antivirus, encryption).
  • Manage and execute backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users.
  • Oversee the deployment of software updates, patches, and hardware upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions.
  • Work closely with the IT team on integrating new technologies and projects.
  • Configure and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based resources (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a Systems administration role.
  • Proficient in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022), Linux/Unix, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiar with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange Server.
  • Proficient in managing backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis).
  • Proficiency in one or more CMS; WordPress preferred
  • Experience with SEO principles and digital marketing tools
  • Solid understanding of HTML formatting, CSS Framework, Web Development framework, Photoshop editing, digital platforms, CMS, and web technologies.
  • Knowledge of database management and data security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with analytics tools and reporting.
  • Proficiency in system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent (preferred)
