Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with daily life tasks including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assistance in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Supporting a Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.

Skills and Expertise

  • Good interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  • Ability to work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
  • Personal care experience (desirable, not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours / willingness to participate in an on-call rota where required.
