Support Worker
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily life tasks including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Escort and assistance in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
- Supporting a Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
Skills and Expertise
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Ability to work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
- Personal care experience (desirable, not essential).
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours / willingness to participate in an on-call rota where required.
