Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and related needs with daily tasks to increase confidence and everyday skills.
  • Supporting children to have fun and engage in learning.
  • Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and other daily tasks, tailored to individual needs.
  • Taking advantage of local amenities and outings, such as shopping, cinema visits, and activities based on children’s interests.

Skills and Expertise

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Support Worker.
  • Experience working with children (desirable, but not essential).
  • Excellent communication, patience, and understanding.
  • Strong sense of humour.
  • Enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Full manual driving licence (essential due to service needs).
