Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering projects, focusing on historic and heritage structures
• Inspecting structural issues, providing high-quality reporting
• Managing client needs, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring project delivery
• Building and nurturing long-term client relationships
• Managing all phases of structural engineering projects (concept to completion)
• Conducting structural surveys, inspections, and site visits
• Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with other team members
• Identifying business development opportunities
• Ensuring designs meet British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant regulations

Skills and Expertise

• Chartered Status with ICE or IStructE
• 5+ years experience in structural engineering
• Proven expertise in historic and listed buildings
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards (heritage focus)
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills and project management
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Full UK driving license
