What you’ll be doing
To support growth of our Street Lighting Business within a set contract. Carrying out various tasks to maintain street light furniture ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives and responsibilities are adhered to.
- The installation, repair and maintenance of lighting brackets, Lanterns, Overhead cables, Bollards and signs
- The changing of lamps, lamp holders, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches etc.
- Management of basic on site risk assessments
- Responsible for site traffic management
- Responsible for company equipment and vehicles
Who we’re looking for
- Must be comfortable working within a team and to tight deadlines
- You will have ability to read maps and must have good level of written and numerical skills
- A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated
- Able to demonstrate analytical skills
- Comfortable working at height as required
- Full training to be provided to allow successful candidate to develop into the role
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- IT literate – Microsoft package
