Stock Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure stock levels are accurate.
  • Perform regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Check stock levels regularly.
  • Update stock information on the computer system.
  • Compare items received against items ordered.
  • Implement or improve processes and procedures.
  • Compile daily reports and address inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain relevant records
  • Manage accurate and efficient product allocation to enhance picking and production efficiency, ultimately boosting overall productivity within the warehouse
  • Manage FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to maintain product quality and reduce damages and write-offs.
  • Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Update min/max levels on parts for engineers as requested, validating requests.
  • Control and audit stock in engineers vans and the warehouse.
  • Manage stock control inbox.
  • Verify correct serial numbers are allocated to jobs.
  • Perform random checks and audits.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good Excel skills
  • Reliable and willing to work hard
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Strong numeric skills, proficient in performing calculations, analyzing inventory data, and interpreting numerical trends
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 (advantageous)
  • Ability to work well with others and independently
  • Strong time management and work organization skills
