Speech and Language Therapist – Gloucester
Key Responsibilities
- Leading group therapeutic sessions to improve speech and communication.
- Building rapport with service users to encourage engagement and empower recovery.
- Managing a designated caseload, including assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
- Demonstrating specialist skills in complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences.
- Developing appropriate strategies for caseload management.
- Undertaking audits and contributing to research in treatment provision.
- Specialist knowledge in acquired communication and swallowing disorders (or other relevant service-specific requirement).
Skills and Expertise
- HCPC registration
- Experience managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
- Experience working with families
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
