Sous Chef – Renfrewshire
Key Responsibilities
- Support Chef Manager in running and developing the team, including training and health and safety.
- Develop new menu ideas and improve existing offerings.
- Maintain consistently high food quality.
- Motivate and lead chef team to high performance standards.
- Oversee stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and health and safety procedures.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
