We require a construction manager in Sevenoaks, Greater London.
The Construction Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations on a construction site. This role involves managing and supervising the construction activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Manager will co-ordinate with subcontractors, manage site safety, and handle any issues that arise during construction.
For this job you will need the following:
• NVQ L4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision
• NVQ L6 Diploma in Construction Site Management
• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Card

The job involves:
• 3-weekly rolling programme.
• Control of labour; keeping to a minimum.
• Control of materials – ordering only as specifically required.
• Attend Sub-Contractors pre-appointment and pre-start meetings.
• Familiarisation with all project drawings and schedules.
• Ensure site copies of all project drawings and schedules are up to date.
• Daily Diaries; comprehensively completed. o Familiarisation with the project Prelims.
• Manage all plant on site in regard to costs; buying not hiring where appropriate Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and work programs in coordination with the Contract Manager.
• Ensure that all activities are in compliance with project plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Co-ordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Manage and supervise site staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that they perform their roles efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and manage the use of materials, equipment, and resources on-site.
