Service Delivery Manager – Cancer Performance & Improvement
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Service Delivery Manager to join our Cancer Performance & Improvement Department. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring timely and effective care for cancer patients across our Trust.
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the coordination of cancer patient pathways, ensuring compliance with national and local targets. You will manage a team of MDT coordinators, chair weekly PTL meetings, and work closely with clinical and management teams to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
– Leadership & Management: Provide leadership to your team, ensuring high performance and staff development. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cancer pathways, from monitoring PTL databases to resolving delays in patient care.
– Collaboration & Communication: Establish strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
– Performance Management: Monitor and manage cancer waiting times, using data and performance indicators to inform decision-making and drive service improvements.
– Process Improvement: Ensure the efficient functioning of MDTs, managing resources effectively, and responding proactively to challenges.
