Senior Support Worker – Diss/Ipswich Area
Key Responsibilities
- Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
- Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
- Promote services to relatives, prospective residents, and inquirers
- Update and write care plans and resident documentation
- Conduct realistic assessments of residents to ensure continuity of care
- Administer medication according to policies and procedures
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience working in a care setting
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine desire to care for others
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (required)
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Salary up to 14.00 per hour or 26,208 per annum
