Key Responsibilities
- Delivering diverse projects, focusing on historic and heritage structures.
- Inspecting structural issues, providing high-quality reports.
- Managing client relationships, developing tailored solutions, and identifying business opportunities.
- Managing all phases of structural engineering projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Conducting structural surveys, inspections, and site visits.
- Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with other team members.
- Identifying business development opportunities through client interaction.
- Ensuring designs meet British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant regulations.
Skills and Expertise
- Chartered Status with ICE or IStructE
- 5+ years experience in structural engineering, specializing in historic buildings
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards, with expertise in heritage preservation
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Full UK driving license
