Senior Residential Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Looking after the needs of residents to deliver quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Leading a team of care staff, including training, supervision, and delegating duties.
  • Administering and ordering medication.
  • Reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments.
  • Liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.

Skills and Expertise

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience in a residential care setting
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions to support resident needs and wellbeing
  • Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to individualised care
