Residential Senior Carer
Key Responsibilities
- Looking after resident needs for quality person-centred care and support.
- Leading a team of care staff, including training, supervision, and delegating duties.
- Supporting with medication administration and ordering.
- Reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments.
- Liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families.
- Respecting resident dignity and preferences.
- Creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
Skills and Expertise
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting.
- Proven team leadership skills.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions to support resident needs and wellbeing.
- Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to individualised care.
