Senior Residential Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Looking after the needs of residents to deliver quality care and support.
- Leading a team of care staff, including training, supervision, and delegating duties.
- Administering and ordering medication.
- Reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments.
- Liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
Skills and Expertise
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting.
- Proven team leadership skills.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions to support resident needs and wellbeing.
- Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to individualised care.
