• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, operations) to optimize data processes, uncover actionable insights, and influence product development.
• Mentoring and leading junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Taking ownership of key data initiatives to drive product success.
• Teaming with product, engineering, finance, marketing, or operations stakeholders to analyze customer behavior and shape product development strategies.
• Leveraging SQL and Python to build, optimize data models, automate workflows, and support data transformations, creating impactful dashboards for actionable insights.
• Leading the development and deployment of machine learning models for improved decision-making and product personalization.
• Exploring and implementing emerging AI technologies to enhance products and business operations.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Skills and Expertise

• Proven leadership and mentoring experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with data modeling experience and familiarity with tools like DBT and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of analytics techniques, including experimentation, statistical inference, and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
