Senior Care Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

  • Offering day-to-day person-centered care, including activities and planned day trips (swimming, seaside trips, museums, sensory walks).

Skills and Expertise

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in adult social care or nursing.
  • Experience in leading shifts.
  • Caring, self-motivated, and passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, email).
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 RQF/NVQ).
  • Commitment to training and progressing to a shift leader.
  • Committed, reliable, and team-oriented.
  • Flexible, willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
