Senior Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising shift
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure best care plans
  • Administering and recording medication
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop services
  • Providing a fun, inclusive, and professional approach

Skills and Expertise

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
  • Well-organised, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others
  • Good understanding of care planning processes
  • Experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication
  • Natural ability to help make lives more fulfilling
