Senior Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising shift
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure best care plans
- Administering and recording medication
- Carrying out risk assessments
- Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
- Working closely with the leadership team to develop services
- Providing a fun, inclusive, and professional approach
Skills and Expertise
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable)
- Well-organised, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work
- Proven ability to lead and supervise others
- Good understanding of care planning processes
- Experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication
- Natural ability to help make lives more fulfilling
