Regional Senior Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support to residents within a 20-mile radius.
- Monitor care delivery when on duty.
- Contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident.
- Record observations (e.g., temperature, blood pressure).
- Provide support and companionship.
- Ensure residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven background in care, with a good understanding of elderly care.
- Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (essential, with a view to complete NVQ 3).
- Understanding of the wider healthcare industry.
- Good understanding of GCSE English and Maths (C or above, preferred).
- Compassionate and dedicated approach to supporting resident wellbeing.
- Ability to travel across the area (car ownership or ready access essential).
