Key Responsibilities

  • Fully participate in school community life, supporting ethos, values, and aims.
  • Contribute to and promote school and organization policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, having high expectations of all.
  • Observe professional standards and contribute to effective working relations within and outside the school.
  • Strategically develop SEN policy and provision.
  • Monitor and review the quality of provision for pupils with SEN or disabilities across the school.
  • Contribute to school self-evaluation, focusing on SEN provision.
  • Ensure SEN policy implementation and objective reflection in the school improvement plan (SIP).
  • Stay updated on national and local initiatives impacting school policy and practice.
  • Evaluate funding effectiveness and suggest improvements.

  • Proven experience of working with SEN pupils
