SEN/SEND Tutor 1:1
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition tailored to the unique needs of each pupil.
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs referred by local authorities and schools.
- Provide holistic and trauma-informed tutoring to promote engagement and learning.
- Plan and deliver sessions designed to meet the pupil’s educational and social-emotional goals.
- Complete progress reports and provide regular feedback on the pupils development.
Skills and Expertise
- Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, TA, LSA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Proven experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional educational needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and a commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references.
- Right to work in the UK.
