SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support and interventions across the curriculum for children with SEN.
  • Work with individuals to support learning and development activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom environments.
  • Conduct assessments and record relevant information.
  • Contribute to daily classroom routines and manage behaviour.
  • Support children in a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Skills and Expertise

  • Previous experience working within a UK secondary school or Early Years setting.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Education Studies Degree, Psychology Degree, or similar qualifications are desirable.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (within the last 12 months).
