SEMH Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Providing vital support to children and young people managing emotions, behaviors, and social skills.
- Working closely with teachers to implement positive behavior strategies, create a safe and supportive learning environment, and help students build resilience.
- Demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a positive attitude to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
Skills and Expertise
- Passion for making a difference and supporting children reach their full potential.
- Resilience and patience in supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers.
- Experience working with SEMH children, ideally in a school setting.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and effective teamwork.
