SEMH Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Providing vital support to children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Working closely with teachers to implement positive behavior strategies.
- Creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Helping students build resilience.
Skills and Expertise
- Passion for making a difference and helping children reach their full potential.
- Resilience and patience in supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including building positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers.
- Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral challenges (ideally in a school setting).
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
