Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain laboratory, preparation room, equipment, and consumables.
• Coordinate first aid provision.
• Solve straightforward problems.
• Exchange information with pupils, teachers, and other technicians.
• Use hand/eye coordination and dexterity in material preparation or equipment use.
• Work from instructions, making minor decisions with initiative; refer problems to line manager.
• Ensure careful use of expensive equipment.
• Maintain basic financial records.
• Ensure adequate first aid supplies, arrange staff training, liaise with trip leaders for medical information, provide first aid for students, and arrange staff first aid rota.
