• Testing production PCB and PCBA assemblies, using automated functional test equipment.
• Diagnosing faults to component level.
• Recording test results, faults and rework action.

Skills and Expertise

• RF circuit design ideally to military rugged standards.
• Satellite antenna transceiver electronic design experience.
• RF mm wavelengths.
• Hardware simulation.
• Defence and military standards.
• Oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators, multi-meters, power supply and other lab test equipment experience.
• Python, MATLAB or other programming and simulation knowledge.
• PCBA component level rework using irons, hot air, and IR equipment.
• Testing, debugging and diagnosing complex military grade satellite transceiver PCBs.
• Helping future proof related issues in new PCBA systems.
