Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of referrals
  • Arrange action and review services for students and families
  • Support the development of safeguarding and child protection policies, training, and procedures
  • Ensure policies, procedures, systems, structures, resources, and personnel are in place to promote student welfare and protection
  • Support vulnerable families and actively work jointly with parents/carers and other agencies through joint planning, training, and monitoring of safeguarding arrangements

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other agencies
