Safeguarding Administrator – Staffordshire

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safeguarding and child protection efforts across the school, including online safety.
  • Participate in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings.
  • Contribute to child assessment.
  • Provide administrative support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for safeguarding concerns.
  • Support staff on child welfare, safeguarding, and child protection matters.
  • Liaise with relevant agencies (local authority, police).

Skills and Expertise

  • Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong understanding of online safety and filtering/monitoring systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and staff.
