Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding service and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure guests receive the highest level of customer service by managing service delivery, interacting with customers, addressing their concerns, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the dining experience and build customer loyalty.
  • Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies, and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
  • Develop and manage budgets, track sales, and monitor cost control measures to ensure the restaurant meets profitability targets.
  • Handle cash management, process payments, and manage tills.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Collaborate with chefs to ensure the quality and presentation of food meet the restaurants standards and maintain high culinary standards.
  • Monitor customer feedback on online platforms and respond to reviews to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor laws, including maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses.

Skills and Expertise

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in the Indian cuisine sector.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and interact with guests.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Passion for Indian cuisine and a deep understanding of flavors and ingredients.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
