Residential Childcare Practitioner – Berkshire

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing individualised care to young people.
  • Communicating and fostering positive relationships with children, staff, families, and other professionals.

Skills and Expertise

  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in children and young peoples residential care, or willingness to achieve this within 2 years.
  • Experience working with young people with disabilities in residential childcare or similar caring environment (preferred).
  • Passionate in providing care to children, offering a child-centred approach, and understanding the needs of children and young people with disabilities.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and able to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to produce clear, legible reports.
